Day 3 Green Smoothie Challenge

Good Morning Loves,

I have made it to Day 3 TADA!!!! I am so happy and very proud of myself. Let me tell you guys my husband broke down and went to the modified version of the cleanse he ate dinner last night. He claimed that he could’t take it anymore he had to eat something, but of course because he is a “man” it really does not matter (BOO MEN).

However, day 3 went just as awesome as day 2 which was wonderful for me. I have noticed that my biggest struggles with this cleanse is right after an intense spin class, after a spin class I want to eat a whole entire roasted chicken of course.
I mean my appetite is like though the roof…lol I simply just drink more smoothie and tell myself it’s a meal because I am determined to get through this cleanse, it is nice to dream though :-). So day 3 I did my normal Wednesday routing at the gym which is my body sculpting class and right after my spin class, and boy was I tired. Guys I am not sure how I was talked into this but, I was talked into doing a double spin class and I did. Can you guys believe it? I was so shocked that I was able to push myself through just on this cleanse, I made sure I stayed hydrated and I did not over exert myself. When I got home last night, I felt like I had accomplished some big things I felt so accomplished I decided that I would get on the scale. Another reason for me wanting to get on the scale was my husband text me to let me know he got on the scale and he was down 5 pounds. When I got home, and after my shower I decided that I would step on the scale. Day three and I am getting on the scale I feel like it is a little to soon, but I did anyway and Drum Roll please…………I am down 10lbs Can I please get a WOOT! WOOT! I am so super excited and I would probably step on the scale again Sunday. I am so amazed that I have dropped this many pounds with this cleanse and working out. Anyway guys enough of that, the recipe for day 3 is: APPLE BERRY

APPLE BERRY:

  • 1 Handful spring mix greens
  • 2 handfuls spinach
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 1/2 cup frozen blue berries
  • 1 banana, peeled
  • 1 apple, cored, and quartered
  • 1 packet stevia (1gram)
  • 2 tablespoons ground flaxseeds

OPTIONAL: 1 SCOOP OF PROTEIN POWDER

Guys let me tell you about this smoothie, it is not as sweet as the other ones you guys can add more stevia if you desire that part is in the book. I just decided against it my husband didn’t though he added more and I took 3 nice sized pineapple chunks and placed them in the bottom of my smoothie container and that seem to do the trick for me.
